The city of Miami Beach forced a shutdown of Club Madonna in reaction to what is being referred to as a “Human trafficking scandal”. The order would have effectively shut down the club for 6 months in an effort by the city to “protect the public”. Efforts by lawyers for Club Madonna got the club opened after being closed for two and a half weeks.
